A Huntington Station man is charged with driving while intoxicated after the van he was driving crashed into a Huntington Station home Saturday night.

Christian Paleta-Cordero, 26, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet van shortly after 11 p.m. when it crashed into a house on West Hills Road and 8th Avenue, police said.

No one inside the heavily damaged house was injured, according to Mike DePasquale, second assistant chief with the Huntington Manor Fire Department, which responded to the crash.

DePasquale said Paleta-Cordero was transported to Huntington Hospital by the Huntington Community First Aid Squad with non-life threatening injuries.

Paleta-Cordero was later charged with DWI.

How do you know he didn't own the van?

Or maybe the contractor was driving it...don't judge...leave that to God.

I think he was soooo overwhelmed by the beauty of Frank Petrone's HS sculpture garden, that he hoisted a few beers and drove into someone's house to tell them all about it.

what difference does it make who's van it is.The guy was drunk and that's that.I bet if you did ten years for your first DWI people may start taking this drinking and driving serious.
