Four Injured in Dix Hills Crash
Two adults and two children suffer non-life threatening injuries in crash on Carman Road Saturday night.
The Dix Hills Fire Department responded to a car accident on Carman Road near Half Hollow Road on Saturday at approximately 8:20 p.m. after a Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a utility pole.
Two adults and two children suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Huntington Hospital by the Dix Hills Rescue Squad. About 25 firefighters and rescue personnel were on the scene with three heavy rescue trucks, two ambulances, paramedic and first responder units, under the command of Chief Tom Magno and Third Assistant Chief Alan Berkowitz.
