Last Chance: Car Show Honoring ATF Agent

Event will benefit the family of John Capano, who was accidentally shot and killed when he attempted to prevent an armed robbery.

Don't miss the Police Surgeons Benevolent Car Show Honoring John Capano today, starting at 9 a.m.

The car show to benefit the family of ATF Senior Special Agent John Capano, who spent 23 years as an agent with Melville's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. 

Capano, was  when he attempted to prevent an armed robbery at   this past New Year’s Eve. He was a member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association and the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI) who had had taught U.S. military and local forces in Afghanistan and Iraq how to investigate blasts.
