A crash on the Long Island Expressway in Melville Monday afternoon has landed one person in the hospital, police said.
A tractor trailer oil truck slammed into a Lexus sedan on the eastbound side of the highway around noon.
The driver of the Lexus was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries to the head, neck and back, police said.
