The Melville Fire Department is hosting registration Jan. 19 for volunteers wanting to become a bone marrow donor.
The event at the fire department at 531 Sweet Hollow Road is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m.
Anyone between 18-55 who is interested all it takes is a simple cheek swab to join the national bone marrow registry.
