A Silver Alert has been issued for a Huntington Station man last seen Wednesday in Hempstead.

Nassau County police said that Alfred Tobias, 59, suffers from a head injury and is diabetic. He was seen about 3:30 p.m. at a nail salon at 77A Main St., Hempstead.

He is described as black, about 180 pounds, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and has a mustache. He was wearing a black hat with white letters reading "USA," a long-sleeve red pullover, tan boots, and denim pants.
