God Bless Alex and Louise, they were the finest neighbors we ever had. After over 22 years of friendship this was a huge shock. They were so vital for the years. We will always keep them in our hearts and prayers

As some of you may have already heard and read in the recent news, my parents have passed away in a tragic car accident this past Monday. For all of those who have extended their sympathies and prayers, I would like to extend on behalf of myself, my wife and 2 children, our most sincere gratitude for the love and strength you have provided us over these past few days. I am posting this because after discussing with a number of our closest friends and family, this would be the easiest way to communicate the services that will be held this weekend at Maloney Funeral Home in Hauppauge. The wake services will be held on Friday night from 7 - 9pm and Satrurday from 2-4pm and again from 7-9pm. The funeral mass will take place at St. Thomas More Church in Hauppauge at 9:45am on Monday with the burial being held at Calverton National Cemetary near Riverhead immediately following. At this time, my family would like once again thank you for your support, love, and lasting memories shared with my mother and father. May God bless you all. Alex

Janet and I were heart-broken by the news of Alex and Louise. They were the finest neighbors we ever had in our 22 years in this community. They were so vital to the very end, only this past fall I was mulching leaves with Alex on the Canterbury side of his property. I can still smell the delicious Zucchini bread Louise baked for a candidate night we hosted at our home. Their warm greetings each year we went to vote as they served as poll workers for so many elections. I am so thankful to have Louise recipe for Butternut Squash Pie that she learned to make as a young girl in the Boston MA area. I cannot believe we will never see them working together in their yard again. God bless them and give peace to their son, Alex and his family.
