State Police arrested a Brentwood man in Melville early Thursday morning after they say he admitted to having crack cocaine in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Dyshaun Flournoy, 23, was pulled over for failing to signal while turning onto Walt Whitman Road at 2:20 a.m., police said.
While being questioned, Flournoy appeared nervous and could not recall where he going to or coming from, police said.
Flournoy admitted to having drugs in the black BMW and he was arrested after an officer found 3.6 grams of crack cocaine inside, police said.
Flournoy is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a class D felony.
