A Huntington Station man was arrested Saturday night after police say he was driving drunk and involved in a minor crash with his two young children in the car.
According to police, Duhaney Duncan, 42, was driving a 2005 Dodge pickup westbound on the shoulder of Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station at 7:55 p.m. when he struck a Nissan minivan that was parked in front of the Brooklyn Pizza restaurant, located at 881 Jericho Turnpike.
Duncan and his two children, ages 1 and 2, were not injured, police said.
Duncan is charged with aggravated DWI with a child 15 years old or younger–a felony under Leandra's Law, DWI, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Duncan was being held at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip.
The children were released to their mother.
