Police Increasing Patrols After Triple Burglary

At least three homes were burglarized in Half Hollow Hills on Wednesday.

Suffolk County Police are stepping up patrols in the Half Hollow Hills area after at least three burglaries were reported on Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Homes located on Lincoln Avenue, McNulty Street and Aldus Place in Dix Hills, were reportedly broken into and large items were taken, according to police.

The incidents occurred during the day. Members of the community have said two other homes in the area were burglarized as well, but police have not yet confirmed that information.
