Police received a 911 call last week, in which group of local teens were said to have been robbed at gunpoint in Dix Hills while walking home from a friend's house.
According to Suffolk County Police, the call came in at 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, reporting that a group of three male teenagers, two age 15 and one 16, were at the corner of Suncrest Drive and Branwood Drive when two men approached and demanded the boys' give up their cell phones and other property.
According to one victim's mother, the boys were walking home from a friend's house nearby when two men and a woman walked up to the boys, and held a silver gun to her son's chest, demanding that he empty his pockets.
The suspects then punched the teens after taking their iPhones and hats, and took off in a dark blue Honda, she said.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday evening, police said.
