Suffolk County police seek the public’s help identifying and locating the man who burglarized a deli in Huntington in June.

Police say a man smashed the front door glass of Critic’s Choice Delicatessen, located at 1153A Jericho Turnpike on June 4 at approximately 11:10 p.m. Once inside, the man stole money from the cash registers.

A witness saw the man fleeing in a dark colored Nissan Murano with one black rim on the front passenger side, possibly a spare tire. The suspect headed south on Deer Park Avenue from Jericho Turnpike, police said.

The suspect is described as male, heavyset, balding, with a goatee.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Looks like the same guy who broke into that restaurant on NY ave and stole the cash register. He gained entry the same way by smashing in the front door. Hope he gets caught.

Security cameras should have the ability to create a high definition video that is automatically uploaded to a cloud base service provider, especially late at night when the stores are closed.
