Cops say woman attempted to use cards at Apple store in Walt Whitman Mall.

Suffolk County Police are seeking a woman they said stole two credit cards from another woman who is employed with a Melville-based company.

According to police, on Friday, April 12, a woman described as a heavy-set black female with blonde hair removed the cards from a woman’s pocketbook that was kept next to the victim’s desk at work.

Four days later, police said the victim was notified that someone attempted to use both credit cards to purchase $6,000 worth of merchandise at the Apple store in the Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington Station.

At the time of the incident, police said the woman was wearing black pants with a floral-print shirt and black jacket.
