Police: Swastika Spray Painted on Dix Hills Garage

Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit is investigating.

A swastika was spray painted on a garage door at a home in Dix Hills earlier this week and police are asking for the public's help to find who did it. 

The swastika was found on a garage door on Ryder Avenue and police believe it was placed there sometime between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday. 

Graffiti was also spray painted on several road signs in the area, police said. The Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit is investigating. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
