Wanted for Stealing $800 in Merchandise

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Second Precinct Crime Section are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man and woman who committed petit larceny at  located at 447 Route 110 in Melville.

On Monday, Aug. 15 at approximately 8:40 p.m., a female and male, who were possibly acting in concert, entered Murphy’s Music in Melville. The female is seen on video surveillance taking a Terror Bass Amp valued at $819.00. The woman then departed the store without paying for the merchandise, police said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
