Wanted: Toy Gun May Lead to Arrest

Police officials are asking to the public's help in identifying three males who were observed on video surveillance running onto the driveway of a Dix Hills residence, each carrying what appear to be toy rifles.

Just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, the individuals were seen running onto the driveway of a home, located at 6 South Hollow Road flashing the fake firearms.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Second Precinct Crime Section are seeking help to identify and locate the persons who engaged in the criminal mischief. 

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Police are also searching for the graffiti artist who spray painted the tag "Chuk" on a pool and utility pole at the USDAN Camp on Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights.

The Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk Graffiti Task Force are on the case and looking for the public's help in identifying the person.

Officials said that the crime occurred between Sept. 30 and Oct. 4.

Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5000.00 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
