A Dix Hills woman was injured Monday afternoon when a tree fell on a car she had just exited, Suffolk police said.
She had just parked her Nissan Maxima at 43 Arista Drive when the tree crashed onto the car. The woman was hit by the tree's branches.
Police said the woman was taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The tree was on the property of 44 Arista Drive. The accident occurred about 2 p.m.
No information was available on what caused the tree to fall.
