Meet the County Executive Candidates

The Melville-East Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce hosting Bellone and Carpenter.

Get to know the candidate who may become the next Suffolk County Executive with the Melville-East Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday Oct. 19.

The Chamber will host Democratic candidate Steve Bellone and Republican challenger Angie Carpenter during its "Business Breakfast Series" from 8-10 a.m. at the Catapano Engineering Assembly Hall at 585 Broadhollow Road in Melville.

Bellone is currently serving his fourth term as Babylon town supervisor.

Carpenter was elected to be County Treasurer in 2005 and reelected in 2009. She is also a former county legislator.

Each will speak about the issues, challenges and their individual goals for solutions. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and get to know the candidates.
