Melville Design Firm Receives Award From American Council of Engineering Companies

H2M to receive Gold Award from American Council of Engineering Companies for their work on the Patchogue plant.

The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) is naming Melville's H2M a 2013 Gold Award recipient for their work on the Patchogue Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrade and Expansion.

“H2M engineered and oversaw the construction of our new plant, which came in on time, under budget, and with only one minor change order," said Patchogue Village Mayor Paul Pontieri in a release from H2M. "The plant will continue to play a critical role in the revitalization of the Village of Patchogue and the protection of the waters of the Great South Bay.”

Pontieri also credits the plant in the release as being an important part of bringing investments into Patchogue Village.
