Sessions to Offer ID Cards to Seniors

D'Amaro to run program to help provide cards and find out about new services.

Suffolk County Legislator Lou D’Amaro (D-Huntington Station)  will hold Senior Citizen Community Outreach Programs at several Babylon and Huntington locations in September to provide free Suffolk County ID for residents ages 60 and older.

These ID cards are required for the reduced fare on the Suffolk County Bus and also can be used to receive discounts at many area businesses.

Seniors can receive their cards by bringing proof of age and residence to one of these locations at the specified times.  The new edition of the Suffolk County Office for the Aging Program & Services Guide for Senior Citizens will also be available.
