Suffolk County Republican Committee Gathers to Celebrate at Smithtown Sheraton

The Republicans congregate to congratulate many victors in their party.

Republican party chairman John J. LaValle started the night at the Sheraton in Hauppauge by saying, "There is no 'I' in team. You are going to see great results tonight. I was hoping to see this man on the ballot." And then he introduced Steve Levy.

Levy told the cheering crowd, "People here are sending a message. We are sick and tired of the people in the government spending money like drunken sailors. It's immoral. We are going to elect government officials who run things like we run our businesses."

LaValle then added, "This is our time. We expect big results tonight. This party is back. We are to be reckoned with. We are doing it tonight. Doing it the Republican Conservative way."
