The State of Love in The World & At Home

There is a relationship between money, love and relationships... we need to keep evolving in consiousness, love and wisdom to create a sustainable world...

By Sandy Hinden, Author, 7 Keys to Love – Opening Love’s Door to Joy & Well-being

There is a relationship between money, love and relationships. Our society needs to evolve if we are to create sustainable love, sustainable families, sustainable communities, and a sustainable world.

In my opinion, we need a new conscious capitalism beyond fianance capitalism that is transferring wealth to the top 20 percent of the people in the world, causing family deterioration for most and leading to an unloving and violent society.

I wish the Right-to-Life folks would focus on the Right-to-A-Decent-Life. Bringing more and more people into our dysfunctional world is even more dysfunctional. We are bringing people into a world that cannot support them. In my opinion, having more children than parents can take good care of is selfish.

We all need to figure out how capitalism is going to create sustainable families and sustainable communities. People need enough work, community services, good education, and healthy culture, and they need to earn enough money or "Community Credits" so that they don't have to turn to selling drugs, guns, friends-with-sex-benefits, sex massage parlors, prostitution and the porn industry to earn a living.

Overpopulation and underemployment lead to vice industries for profit.

CONSCIOUS CAPITALISM

Current Capitalism ignores this social breakdown. We need a new enlightened, sustainable capitalism, beyond the present finance capitalism and Industrial Capitalism of the past. Finance Capitalism has led to the transfer of wealth to the top 20 percent in the United Stated and probably the world. The rest of the 80 percent of America, and probably about 5 billion people on Earth, are struggling to survive.

This creates constant stress in their relationships. Relationships often break-up over money, where the woman seeks to trade-up for a wealthier man to provide more resources for children and/or more comfort and luxury.  Thus, Finance Capitalism, only accessible with upper-tier jobs or financial advisers, is contributing to family destabilization for the 80 percent of the population not enjoying a growing greater wealth.

To marry or not to marry?

This has led to a condition around the world where only wealthy men are marrying and enjoying the fruits of a healthy marriage and prosperity: love, companionship, helping each other fulfill dreams, nurturing children, social involvement and philanthropy.

“Once largely limited to poor women and minorities, motherhood without marriage has settled deeply into middle America. The fastest growth in the last two decades has occurred among white women in their 20s who have some college education but no four-year degree, according to Child Trends, a Washington research group that analyzed government data.”

Young Mothers Describe Marriage’s Fading Allure (February 18, 2012)  The New York Times

Women frustrated and disappointed with a man's lack of earning power, often withdraw love and affection, leading to further frustration in the family and marital conflict.

Lack of the possibility of having a healthy, loving relationship and a family is leading to community unrest, particularly in a world where thousands of weapons dealers are operating behind the scenes each day making deals, fueling ethnic conflicts, drug wars and war.

Perennial values and a culture of peace:

Thus, as I commented as an audience member at the 2005 Conference on Interfaith Cooperation for Peace at the United Nations, unless men have decent work and a family to care for, they will get into trouble selling drugs, guns and sex, human trafficking, and now in terrorism and hijacking. Poorer men, unable to afford to have a wife, a home and a family will not participate in the community, so necessary to mentor youth in the perennial enlightening values that have guided human development from selfishness and violence, to peace and generosity of spirit and material resources.

An example of social generosity is the annual Potlatch Ceremony of the Pacific Northwest Native Americans, where the most well-off give goods to the less fortunate members of the community. The status of any given family is raised not by who has the most resources, but by who distributes the most resources. The hosts demonstrate their wealth and prominence through giving away goods.

“We make a living by what we get,  but we make a life by what we give.” - Winston Churchill

Contrary to these enlightening values of peace, harmony, balance, well-being, kindness and generosity, today’s profit-driven violent sports and video game culture trains people to be competitive and unfeeling, so they may compete and even harm “the other” without remorse. The qualities and values of competition and harming others to succeed are opposite of empathy, compassion and love needed for sustainable families and communities. Both are needed if we are to wisely co-create a sustainable planet.

Perennial Character Issues Perennial Enlightening Values Hedonism, the lust for pleasure and/or lust for power over others healthy pleasure and taking good care of one’s self each day Self-ignorance, foolishness education, wisdom Pollution and poisoning of mind, emotions, body and nature  Health, wellness Hatred, violence, war Peace, harmony, balance Isolation, coldness Love, empathy, compassion, kindness, community, belonging Greed Generosity Rigid inflexibility Creative adaptability Commitment to the self and only one’s group  Commitment to the larger community and the world as a whole

TRUE ABUNDANCE and LOVE GROUPS WORLDWIDE:

An Enlightened, Sustainable Capitalism will require new ways of being with each other. The missing human qualities for a sustainable world are Compassion, Empathy, Kindness and Love. These can be called EQ - Emotional Quotient. IQ - Intelligent Quotient measures the ability to analyze and compute, strategize and solve technical problems. Humanity’s problems cannot be solved only with the mind. Without empathy and compassion, cunning takes over – destroying families, communities and the Earth for profit. There is a great difference between Competitive Wealth and Collaborative Wealth (Commonwealth).

Thus, I have started True Abundance & Love Groups to help create abundance and love for all. We practice... Positivity, wisdom, love, compassion, empathy, kindness, co-empowerment, collaboration, co-creativity and generosity. We seek to create a triple win: I win, you win and the Community-Earth wins.

Abundance that is sustainable for the Earth is true abundance and love for all.

The sacredness of love we wish for; I share this at the end of my "7 Keys to Love" workshop.

The Secret to Sacred Love is Loving the Beloved … and the Beloved is a Trinity you can be devoted to… * The Beloved Creation (some call this God)… * The Beloved Loving Partner who honors, loves, and cherishes you… * The Beloved You, your sacred, sweet, loving heart that honors, loves and cherishes you (some call this the inner God, the divine within, the kingdom of heaven within).

I think most relationships fall apart because our partners never understand and experience this Beloved Sacred Trinity. We need to first develop a great appreciation for the vast universe, the beloved creation. Then we need to practice having a wonderful, peaceful, sweet, loving relationship with our selves. That is our work before we can have a sacred love with another that lasts… We can do the first and third alone, and we can feel great love each day.

In the True Abundance and Love Group I facilitate there is so much love we share between us all, helping each other and the world. We are making connections between the Lessons of the Law of Attraction & Abundance and the Lessons of Love. We connect abundance with love, here and now, with whomever is present. We feel the love, so sweet, we feel Abundant Love.

Contact me to start a True Abundance & Love Group near you. We will affiliate these groups around the world and share abundance and love to help create sustainable, lasting love, sustainable families, sustainable communities and a sustainable world. My contact information is below.
