WALK is reporting that the Alternatives for Children school in Melville will be closed on Monday. The announcement was made around 5 p.m. and posted on the radio station's Storm Center web page.
The school's other locations in East Setauket, Aquebogue and Southampton will also be closed on Monday.
As of 5 p.m. Sunday, the Half Hollow Hills School District had not made an announcement about whether schools would be open on Monday.
