Huntington Chamber of Commerce Annual Networking Meeting

The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual 'State of Chamber' annual networking meeting on Thurs May 12.

This event will include a presentation entitled “Building Your Business: Effective Tools and Resources for Successful
Business Networking & Relationships.”

There will also be a recap of the “State of the Chamber” by
Chamber Chairman Robert Bontempi as well as a presentation by keynote speaker Rob Basso, co-owner of Advantage Payroll Services, the New York region’s largest independent payroll processing firm. He is also the founder of www.BassoOnBusiness.com, the premier organization in the region focused on helping small- and medium-sized businesses. Mr. Basso will facilitate an informative program which will offer information on building a personal brand and making the right connections in the marketplace. His presentation will cover how building trust boosts market share, how consistent interaction with connections will help grow a personal brand, and will offer tips on how to attract the right people to a company. As part of his program, Basso will also facilitate an effective networking event for those in attendance.

The “State of the Chamber” will focus on those issues of critical importance to Long Island’s business community and will review recent initiatives the Chamber has implemented.  The Chamber’s vision is to maintain economic strength, expand opportunities and continue to grow local business and industry to meet the demands and needs of the diverse communities throughout Long Island. The
Chamberoffers a wide range of innovative initiatives designed to directly benefit members. From promotional and networking opportunities to economic development incentives and targeted events, the organization seeks ways to enhance business performance. With the active participation of its member
organizations, the Chamber has evolved into the region's leading business organization, reaching new levels of activism and influence.

The event will also include a raffle, where each table will submit business cards to be entered into a drawing.
