Presentation: Neighborhoods of Brooklyn
Learn about Brooklyn, an agrarian outpost for New Amsterdam that evolved from 6 original Dutch towns into over 90 individual neighborhoods. Along the way, suburban towns were annexed and cities evolved. Soon row houses grew on former farmland and Manhattan extended Brooklyn’s boundaries further south. Now, the most populous borough of Greater New York still multiplies as it discovers even newer neighborhoods.
