Forest Park Presents "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

Students perform classic tale during Shakespeare Festival

Forest Park Elementary School is holding a Shakespeare Festival with classes performing several plays by the renowned author.

On Tuesday, students performed one of Shakespeare's most popular works, "A Midsummer's Night Dream," in which Athenian lovers and amateur actors are manipulated by fairies who inhabit the forest.

On Monday, June 11, classes will perform "Julius Caesar," "Macbeth" and "Hamlet." On June 14, "A Comedy of Errors" will be shown and the classic "Romeo and Juliet" will conclude the festival on June 18.

All performances start at 9:30 a.m.

Forest Park was named a Blue Ribbon school by the U.S. Department of Education.
