Four HHH Students Named National Merit Semi-Finalists

Students were recognized with proclamations at the Board of Education meeting last week.

Four Half Hollow Hills High School seniors were named semi-finalists in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program.

More than 1.5 million juniors took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) last Fall 2010, entering them in the National Merit Scholarship Program, a nationwide competition for recognition and awards conducted by National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Approximately 16,000 high performers, nationwide, are named as semi finalists.

Aaron Schwartz, Adam Needlelman of and Suhwoo Bae and Nicholas Ng of were selected.


The students were recognized at the Board of Education meeting on Sept. 19 and awarded Proclamations by Legislator Steve Stern.
