HHH All-Eastern Music Students

Both high schools--East and West--have students in the All-Eastern Honors Ensemble, representing NYS.

Congratulations to Half Hollow Hills music students who have been selected by the Music Educatorsʼ National Conference to represent New York State in the 2011 All- Eastern Honors Ensembles.

These students will be performing in concert at the Carl Murphy Performing Arts Center at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland,on Sunday, April 3rd.

Criteria for acceptance into the All-Eastern Honors Ensemble is based upon a proficiency list from NYSSMA and participation in an All-State performing group. Students are selected from New York, Maine,  Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey.

Nominated from High School West: Danielle Chuang (violin in orchestra), Emily Kim (flute in band), Dianna Hu (alto voice in chorus), Emanuel Zornberg (euphonium in band).

From High School East: Andrew Grossman (percussion in band as an alternate).
