HHH Board of Ed Gives Out Awards to Athletes

The handed out a number of awards at their last board meeting, at Elementary School.

The first award was for the Suffolk Zone Chapter of the New York State Associations for Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance.

The seniors who received the award are those who have met criteria in six different areas of outstanding Physical Education Achievement including:

Physical Education Achievement, Scholastically Sound, Outstanding Character, Physical Education Leader, School-wide activities as a "Leader" and Student Role Model.

The award was presented to one senior young lady and senior young man from each high school.

At Hills East the recipients were:

Morgan Donovan and Mason Thorbjornsen.

At Hills West:

Tiffany Ejikeme and James Barone received the award.

 Then the board gave out awards to the HHH girls swimming and diving team for making the New York State Qualifier. The girls receiving the awards were:

Imani Flynn

Kayleigh Toth

Rachel Dunaisky

Selina Ng

Next, an award was given out to one girl on the HHH East girls tennis team, who was a New York State Qualifier. The girl receiving this award was:

On the New York State doubles team, awards were given to:

Then the NYS boys varsity volleyball team, who were NYS finalists, received awards. Not all the members of the team were there, but all the boys received awards, including:
