HHH Schools Closed Monday
Dangerous road conditions due to the blizzard cancel Monday classes.
All schools in the Half Hollow Hills School District will be closed Monday "due to dangerous road conditions throughout the community," according to a statement posted on the district's website.
The board of education meeting scheduled for 8 p.m. Monday at Signal Hill Elementary remains a go.
No word from the district on how Monday's closing will affect remaining vacation days. Four days of Winter Break this month have already been canceled due to Hurricane Sandy. A statement from the district in November said that if one snow day is used, schools would be in session on Monday, Feb. 18.
