Student-Driven Fundraiser A Success
West Hollow Middle School sixth graders host event that raises $2,600.
Nine sixth graders from West Hollow Middle School recently hosted a charity event to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County and Larger Than Life.
The students — Jared Bank, Elan Elgavisch, Jared Klinkowize, Jonathan Ladenheim, Carson Leifer, Jared Meltzer, Josh Miller, David Paul and Grant Pitcoff — held the event on Friday, October 12, at Ultimate Gaga in Syosset.
The evening was a huge success as 170 sixth graders attended and $2,600 was raised for the two charities.
