Friday, June 22

  • Prom

Prom 2012 has arrived in Half Hollow Hills. High School West seniors will celebrate at Crest Hollow Country Club from 7-11 p.m. and High School East seniors will enjoy the last dance of their high school careers at the Hyatt Regency from 7-11 p.m.

We want to see your senior group shots, funny poses and photos of your time at the big dance.   • Tiffany Performs at Four Food Studio

The 80s queen of pop will sing her Billboard chart topping hit, "I think We're Alone Now" and more at in Melville.. Enjoy dinner, drinks and dancing on the new outdoor deck. Admission is free until 10 p.m.

Noori, one of Pakistan's top pop bands, will perform at 8:30 p.m. at Heckscher Park, on the Chapin Rainbow Stage. Take folding chairs, blankets or cushions for seating comfort. Chairs are not permitted in the blanket area (indicated by lawn signs).

  • Tiki Bowl Fridays at

A bit of the tropics is coming to 300 Long Island every Friday, starting today. For $21 ($15 for kids 12 and younger) you'll enjoy two hours of unlimited bowling and shoes, a themed buffet from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and an live, in-house DJ. A live Reggae band will also be featured tonight. Receive an additional hour of fun when you RSVP at (631) 271-1180.

Saturday, June 23

  • King of the Hill Lacrosse Tournament

Dozens of teams will compete to earn the title of "King of the Hill" in a lacrosse tournament Saturday at High School East. Last year, the stands were packed with more than 2,500 people in attendance to watch 1,100 lacrosse players battle on the field.

The tournament is the main fundraiser for Hills Lacrosse, which helps offset expenses for  participants with special needs. The funds also provide gym time for kids during the off season and supports the high school teams. 

Cuba Gooding & The Main Ingredient will perform Saturday at the Chapin Rainbow Stage, 8:30 p.m. Take folding chairs, blankets or cushions for seating comfort. Chairs are not permitted in the blanket area (indicated by lawn signs).

Featured performer and finalist from Season Two of "The Voice", Tony Lucca will be taking the stage at the Tanger Outlets at the Arches fountain at 6 p.m.

Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. at 235 Pinelawn Road in Melville, (Newsday lawn). Movie begins at sundown. Bring blankets or chairs to sit. There will be free giveaways, vendor booths and food and refreshments. The movie is FREE, but tickets are required. Click here to get them.

  • Graduation

Congratulations to the class of 2012! Both high school commencement ceremonies will be held at High School East. Graduating seniors from Hills West will receive their diplomas at noon and seniors from Hills East will start their commencement ceremony at 3:30 p.m. 

The critically-acclaimed singer, guitarist, composer and bandleader Howard Fishman brings a high-energy, contagiously exuberant five-piece New Orleans-style brass band. Show starts at 8:30 p.m. at the Chapin Rainbow Stage in Heckscher Park, Huntington.
