Whiz Kids: HHH Art Students

Elementary School Art Show works being showcased at the library this month.

Half Hollow Hills recently celebrated the artistic talents of elementary students from all seven district schools. May 2 was the kick-off for the annual Elementary School Art Show at the Dix Hills branch of the . 

These student works will be showcased throughout May.

“The study of the arts is a vital part of a child's well-rounded education and a necessity in any well-structured, comprehensive educational program," said Sal Randazzo, director of fine arts and music.

From kindergarten through fifth grade, all students have a weekly art class. Art clubs are also available as after-school programs.
