$10,000 Raised for Hills East Football

Booster Club holds second golf outing to help fund "Friday Night Lights" games

The Half Hollow Hills High School East football team is looking forward to an exciting season as its players and parents have helped raise $10,000 to go toward financing Friday Night Lights games.

On July 23, the Hills East booster club held a fundraiser golf outing at Crab Meadow Golf Course in Northport to build financial support for the popular night games and extra coaches.

In attendance were 100 golfers who tested their swings on the course, as well as dozens of supporters who participated in raffles for sports equipment, toys, gift certificates from local businesses and an iPad.
