It was the the first no-hitter game for Hills East since 2009. The Thunderbirds had two no-hitter games that year.

However, this is not the first time for Ceparano. The athlete also pitched a no-hitter game during the Perfect Game 2011 Underclass Wood Bat World Championship in Fort Meyers Florida in October 2011.
