Dix Hills' Sahner Named Skyline Conf. Player of the Week

Dix Hills resident Holly Sahner, a junior at Farmingdale State, was named the Skyline Conference volleyball player of the week.

A graduate of Half Hollow Hills East High School, Sahner led the Rams to a 3-1 week. She averaged 3.9 kills, 2.3 digs and 1.1 aces per set.

Sahner had 20 kills and nine aces in Farmingdale State’s 3-2 win over CCNY, had 17 kills in a 3-1 victory over Old Westbury and 16 kills as the Rams blanked St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn 3-0.
