Dr. J Coming to Huntington

Basketball legend to sign his autobiography Monday at the Book Revue.

Retired basketball star Julius Erving will sign copies of his new autobiography Monday at the Book Revue.

Erving played in the American Basketball Association before it merged with the NBA in the mid-1970s, first with the Virginia Squires, the New York Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers. He was named Most Valuable Player in both leagues.

NBA.com says, "He was a wizard with the ball, performing feats never before seen: midair spins and whirls punctuated by powerful slam dunks."

He is scheduled to appear at 6 p.m. to sign his book, Dr. J: The Autobiography.
