Suffolk County Islanders fans who can't pull in Hofstra University's WRHU will have an alternative for tonight's pivotal fifth game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Islanders announced today that the game will also be simulcast on ESPN New York 98.7-FM starting at 7 p.m. By also placing the broadcast on ESPN, fans throughout northern New Jersey, New York City, Connecticut and Westchester County will be able to tune in to the game.

The game will also be on flagship WRHU-88.7-FM.

In a statement, Islanders Senior Vice President Michael Picker said "With the heightened excitement surrounding New York Islanders hockey, we’re pleased to work with ESPN New York and our broadcast partner at Hofstra University, WRHU, to deliver the game to our passionate fans throughout the tri-state area."

The best-of-seven Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series is tied at two games apiece after the Islanders beat the Penguins 6-4 at the Nassau Coliseum on Tuesday night.
