About Youth Flag Football:
Flag football has all the fitness and social benefits of a rigorous team sport, with far less injury risk than a contact sport.
The Associated Press reports “The sport is growing for all kinds of reasons: Players don’t need a lot of protective equipment, so it’s cheaper and easier to field a team; and kids can play whether they are big or small.” Additional rules reduce the chances of inadvertant contact. These include stopping play when there is a fumble or interception.

We meet once a week. There are no practices.
