The Half Hollow Hills School District will be fully operational on Friday.
School district officials on Thursday announced that all buildings have power and are ready to open again to receive students and teachers.
In addition, the district’s central office has also had power restored.
“As anticipated, this community stood together during a very challenging time and continues to persevere,” officials said in statement posted on the school district’s website. “We look forward to welcoming back all our students on Friday morning.”
In addition, because of school closings over the past two weeks, the first marking period has been extended through Monday, Nov. 19.
