HHH Girls Basketball Scrimmages with Commack

Colts play Cougars in a no-scoring scrimmage game.

The Half Hollow Hills West Colts girl's varsity basketball team faced the Commack Cougars on Saturday morning in a 60-min. scrimmage.

Divided into three 20-minute quarters, with the clock only stopping for time-outs, the two teams played competitively in a no-scoring practice game.

Both teams focused on their defense, passing, dribbling and maneuvering around the court.

Head coach of the Colts, Bill Zatulskis, commented on his team's performance: "We're a young team. We're learning how to play together and develop a chemistry with each other. Today, we had a bit of a height disadvantage against Commack, but we came together and played our hardest."

The team is made up of mostly freshman and sophomores.

Their first league game is on December 14 against Sayville.
