HHH lacrosse star makes verbal agreement to play for the Division I University.

Powerhouse attack-man Jesse Parker verbally committed to play lacrosse for Division I Binghamton University this week.

The rising senior at Half Hollow Hills High School East scored 60 goals and made 24 assists this past season for a total of 84 points, ranking him the fifth top scorer on Long Island.

Parker has been named to All-County and performed in the Long Island Showcase, in which he helped lead his team to victory. He also played in the Brine National Lacrosse Classic - All American and the Baltimore Summer Kick Off All-Star tournament.

The Thunderbirds celebrated its first playoff win for the first time in six years this past season, much to the credit of Parker's six goals in the 13-7 victory against Sachem East in May.

Off the field, Parker is a member of the National Honor Society and a New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete. Taking his love for the game a step further, he has volunteered for the Challenger Lacrosse program, for children with special needs, as well as for the King of the Hill tournament for the Hills Youth Lacrosse club.
