St. Matthew's Boys Take LI Super League Basketball Championship
The seventh grade boys travel team earned the first place title last week.
The seventh grade boys travel basketball team from St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in Dix Hills are the new Long Island Super League Champions.
The championship game was played on March 28 at the Island Garden in West Hempstead against Long Island Lightning Maline. St. Matthew's won the game with a final score of 54-51.
The team is coached by Hunt Bresky and Richard Serpe.
