The wrestlers of the Hills East varsity team sought to prove their might in a "Tough Man Contest," held Saturday at the high school by coach Bill Davey.
The wrestlers competed in several events, including a 100-yard-dash with a tire, weight lifting, medicine ball throw, shuttle run, iron ax hold, sleigh push pull, farmers run and prowler pull.
So who are the toughest men in Hills East?
Mike Macchia took the light weight division, Matt Haenel led the middle weight and Michael Morris won in the heavy weight class. Morris was also named "Tough Man MVP."
