Coming Up: Choral Rehearsal, Keeping Warm
What's going on around Huntington this week.
The Huntington Choral Society is looking for singers, with open rehearsals set for Monday at 8 p.m. at Huntington High School. All singers of all ranges welcome but tenors are especially needed.
If your tastes in music run to instruments, join in Wednesday as the Long Island Accordion Alliance gets together to play at La Villini Restaurant in East Northport. The musical fun starts at 6 p.m; all accordionists are welcome to play.
Long Island Rail Road waiting rooms will be open around-the-clock through Friday afternoon to accommodate customers in the continuing cold weather.
The Halesite Fire Department will feed those donating blood Friday. The drive is set for 3:30-8 p.m. at the firehouse.
