You are welcome for the laugh, New York Patriot. Thank you for getting on with the otherRead More "pesky" business that will only be heard from Patriots and Liberty lovers. I think Dirty Harry is coming. Just how dirty, I do not know. Dirt is dirt ! As to my Social Security, I would estimate that over a 40 year period I loaned that fund $300,000+ and will be lucky to extract $200,000. Lol. Thanks again for taxing the minds of liberals on issues that they either do not know of or do not wish to speak to.

Jeff - Article I-Section 10, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution specifically permits states to enterRead More interstate compacts. In fact, there are hundreds of major compacts currently in force (and thousands of minor ones). You might be familiar with the Multi-State Lottery Compact (which operates the Powerball lotto game in numerous states)

The Electoral College has been outmoded since the invention of the telegraph and is in directRead More contravention of the one person, one vote concept that should epitomize any democratically run system. As for Mr. Bundy in Nevada , what is his beef ? The bum has not paid his rent in twenty years and should expect to be run off that property like any other squatter. Claims that he is being deprived of some imagined freedom are sheer nonsense. The man is a deadbeat plain and simple and owes in excess of $100,000, 000 for leased land.

Stephanie Steele, no, I did not see the report. By your description, it makes it even worse. BecauseRead More the "Adult" that rented the Party Bus had too know exactly what was going to happen. As for my comment above stating "But the main responsibility should of been with the kids themselves." was from a " they should of known" point of view. Legally, it is definitely the parents responsibility.
EG April 16, 2014 at 09:02 pm
Maybe the "kids" just figured out how much they needed to borrow for college on top of theRead More 100+ grand of debt they each inherited from the current generation of idiots. How can you blame them for wanting to get drunk?
Andrew Scott April 16, 2014 at 03:05 pm
No, Klopps. It's perfectly fine for you to question my intelligence in the fashion you did. No oneRead More should infer any slight from your comments, of course. The bottom line is that the punishment so outweighs this "crime" - now that he has been indefinitely suspended - that I have serious doubts about the judgementdemonstrated by St. A's Administration. They have taken a teachable moment, and instead, have used the student to cover their "Christian" asses. IMHO they have not dealt with this matter as true Christians, in the least.

As both an alumni and a former faculty member at this school, I can confidently assure the readingRead More public that as an institution, St. Anthony's High School is a hot-bed of discrimination. In fact, its inhumane culture not only exists amongst the poorly-educated student body, but it is equally, and perhaps even more rampant amongst the adult administration, faculty, and staff. Female faculty members are repeatedly passed over for deserved and overdue promotions, elderly faculty members have faced drastically inflated pay cuts due simply to their age, and those who are not practitioners of an outdated and conservative Catholic religion are treated as inferior. Worst of all, homosexuals are commonly verbally assaulted and generally loathed and mocked. I have personally overheard, in their faculty lounge, phrases such as the following, in accepted, common, everyday usage: "the n-word" "the s-word referring to latinos" "words such as ret***ed, in referring to students with special needs, and most memorably, that "gay marriage will be brought to an end when the last fu***ng f***ot dies of AIDS." Even when these statements have been made in front of third party witnesses and were reported to Principal Gary Cregan, NO disciplinary action is ever taken. Nor is any action taken to help the perpetrators overcome their ignorance, racism, sexism, ageism, or homophobia. Even more shockingly, it is often the VICTIM that is treated unprofessionally and without respect - as well as terminated simply for who they are. To them, the presence of an open homosexual calls for that employee's harassment, mistreatment, and unjustified termination. If any members of the public would like to learn more about this revelation, feel free to comment to this post and a meeting and/or interview will gladly be arranged. A group of outraged members of this educational community will be actively making the public aware of these injustices, in order to protect our children, colleagues, citizens.

" Steve Florentz April 15, 2014 at 12:04 PM Sounds like a lot of you people don't mind yourRead More kids being able to buy cigarettes under the age of 21. " Since when was 21 the point that a "kid" becomes an adult?
ChudleyQ April 16, 2014 at 12:05 pm
I don't want anybody buying cigarettes. But there are a lot of addicts out there that can't stop.Read More Most of those addicts started smoking when they were under 21. By raising the age to 21 we increaae the odds for a lot of people who otherwise would start smoking.

Steve Israel should be ashamed of himself. Ever since he became head of the DemocraticRead More Congressional Campaign Committee, he has moved further and further left. I cannot believe this man is a suitable representative for the electorate of his district. I look forward to voting for his opponent in November.
Archie Bunker April 16, 2014 at 07:04 am
I would like to thank everyone for supporting Congressman Israel. If he is not re-elected, I willRead More lose my unemployment insurance, free health care for my family and will need to find work. By the way, does anyone know if Obamacare covers braces?
