Damon Rallis, a North Fork native, is an award-winning journalist and former newspaper editor. Following a ten-year run working at local weeklies as a beat-reporter and editor, Damon chose a new career path and took a break from writing. Over the years, his urge to do what he loved the most had gotten the best of him.
Applying all of his prior experiences, he began freelancing for various magazines, newspapers and online publications. In the years that followed he delved into the promotion and marketing of musicians and small businesses.
Damon has made a name for himself in the web development community, first building websites and managing online marketing campaigns and later joining a local website development firm where he found himself immersed in all facets of online publishing, including sales, design, content management, search engine optimization services and more.
Damon has worked autonomously since 2007, offering an array of services to various individuals and companies, but has slowly gone back to his roots as a writer. He currently publishes his own blog and runs his own media consultation company providing web content and press release services to clients from around the country.
