HS West's Marisa Pierini 1st Runner-Up in Miss Long Island Teen Pageant

Nailah Garard, of Dix Hills, named Miss Teen Community Queen.

Marisa Pierini did Half Hollow Hills proud at the Miss Long Island Teen 2014 pageant held in Patchogue over the weekend. 

Pierini, of Wheatley Heights and an incoming senior at HS West, was the 1st runner-up in the pageant at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts. Nailah Garard, of Dix Hills, was named Miss Teen Community Queen. 

Michelle Medoff of Great Neck took the Miss Long Island crown and Sabrina Franza of Oceanside took the Miss Long Island Teen crown.

Both winners will advance to Donald Trump’s New York USA 2014 Pageant in January.

Medoff and Franza will make their first appearance at the Island Hills Golf and Country Club in Sayville Monday for a golf outing supporting Long Island organization Hope For Youth.
